New Grower
These organic sultanas are grown by Helen and Peter Kamvissis at All Australian Organics in the Sunraysia region of north-west Victoria. Naturally dried and minimally processed, with no added oil. They are suited to baking, cooking and everyday use.
About sultanas
Sultanas are dried grapes traditionally used in baking, cooking and snack mixes. Their sweetness develops naturally as the grapes dry, concentrating both flavour and sugars within the fruit.
These sultanas are produced in a more traditional natural style, resulting in a fruit that is slightly less plump than many commercially processed sultanas. Rather than being heavily processed for softness and uniform appearance, the fruit retains more of the variation typical of naturally dried vine fruit, with no oils added in processing or packing. The result is fruit that is slightly more dense with a deeper flavour than commercially produced dried fruit.
About the grower
These sultanas are grown by Helen and Peter Kamvissis at All Australian Organics in the Sunraysia region near Mildura. The family has been growing grapes in the region for decades, producing dried fruit, table grapes and wine varieties under certified organic farming systems.
The hot, dry climate of Sunraysia has long made the region suitable for vine fruit production and drying. All Australian Organics focuses on Australian-grown organic sultanas and currants, maintaining a direct link between vineyard and finished product.

FAQs
Are these sultanas organic?
Yes. These sultanas are certified organic and grown by All Australian Organics in Victoria.
Why are these sultanas less plump than some supermarket sultanas?
These sultanas are produced in a more traditional natural style and retain more of the variation typical of naturally dried vine fruit. This results in a slightly firmer and denser texture.
Do these sultanas contain added oils?
No. These sultanas are produced without added oils.
Do these sultanas contain sulphites?
These sultanas are produced without sulphites or other added preservatives. Organic production standards limit the use of sulphur-based preservatives, and these sultanas are produced in a preservative-free style. As a result, they may differ slightly in colour and appearance compared with sulphited commercial dried fruit.
How should I store sultanas?
Store in a cool, dry place in a sealed container. Refrigeration will help maintain freshness in warmer conditions.
Where are these sultanas grown?
These sultanas are grown in the Sunraysia region of north-west Victoria.
