Grown by Pepo Farms in Victoria's Ovens Valley, these heirloom Styrian pumpkin seeds are lightly roasted to develop their natural nutty flavour and satisfying crunch. With no added salt, they're equally at home as a wholesome snack or sprinkled through salads, soups, grain bowls and baking.

About the Seeds

Not all pumpkin seeds are the same.

These roasted pumpkin seeds come from heirloom Styrian oil-seed pumpkins, a unique variety that naturally produces hull-less seeds. Unlike many imported pumpkin seeds, there's no hard outer shell to remove, allowing the rich green seed to be enjoyed just as nature intended.

Light roasting develops the seed's natural nutty flavour and crisp texture without relying on added salt. The result is a versatile ingredient that lets the character of the pumpkin seed shine through, whether you're enjoying them straight from the pack or adding them to your favourite recipes.

"Pepita" is the common culinary name for the green edible kernel of a pumpkin seed. Many pepitas are produced by mechanically removing the hard white hull from ordinary pumpkin seeds.

Pepo Farms grow heirloom Styrian oil-seed pumpkins that naturally produce hull-less seeds, meaning the tough white hull never develops. The green seed can be harvested without the need for mechanical dehulling.

Are these grown in Australia?

Yes. These pumpkin seeds are grown, roasted and packed by Pepo Farms in Victoria's Ovens Valley.

What makes Styrian pumpkin seeds different?
