Traditional lasagna sheets made better. These Organic Durum Wheat Lasagna Sheets are crafted in South Australia by L’Abruzzese using 100% certified organic Australian durum wheat. Bronze die-extruded and slow dried to preserve texture and nutrition, they hold up beautifully in layered bakes without turning to mush.
About the Maker
L’Abruzzese has been handcrafting pasta since 1980 in Glynde, just outside Adelaide. They’re one of the only Australian pasta makers producing a certified organic range using locally grown grain. Their pasta is extruded through bronze dies for a rustic, sauce-hugging texture, then air-dried slowly to maintain its integrity, flavour, and bite.
What Makes These Organic Lasagna Sheets Different?
Most lasagna sheets on the market—especially organic ones—are imported or made from flour that isn’t locally grown. These are made entirely from Australian durum wheat semolina, milled and crafted in South Australia. The result? A lasagna sheet with just the right balance of firmness and tenderness, without additives, preservatives, or egg.

FAQs
Do I need to boil these lasagna sheets before baking?
Not necessarily. If your lasagne is saucy enough and you bake it for at least 40 minutes, there’s no need to pre-boil. However, some people prefer to soften the sheets in boiling water for a minute or two before assembling. You can also preboil to use these for cannelloni
Are these lasagna sheets suitable for freezing?
Yes. You can freeze cooked lasagne made with these sheets, or assemble your lasagne ahead of time and freeze before baking.
Do these lasagna sheets contain egg?
No. They are made with just organic durum wheat semolina and water, making them vegan friendly.
What’s the best way to store these Lasagna sheets?
Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. Best before 12 months from date of purchase.
