Sometimes, simplicity is best. These roasted and salted macadamias from Ecodamia are a pure expression of what happens when exceptional ingredients are left to speak for themselves. Grown regeneratively on a small Queensland orchard, then dry-roasted and lightly salted on-farm, they’re crunchy, creamy, and impossibly moreish.

Each jar is packed fresh at the orchard and sealed in glass—keeping the nuts at their peak without the use of plastics or additives.

About the Grower

Stewart Neilson is the farmer behind Ecodamia, a 10-hectare macadamia orchard planted with 2,700 trees and over 18 varieties. Stewart grows all his macadamias chemical-free, without synthetic fertilisers or sprays, and processes them entirely on-farm—from husk to heat-sealed bag.

Harvested using soft rakes and a low-impact finger-wheel harvester, the nuts are dehusked, air-dried, cracked, and colour-sorted before being roasted in small batches in Ecodamia’s certified processing facility. His regenerative farming approach preserves soil biology, pollinator habitats, and native understorey, ensuring each bag of macadamias reflects the ecology of the region.

Are these certified organic?

Not yet. Stewart farms using strict chemical-free, regenerative practices that exceed conventional organic in many ways. He is currently undergoing certification and expects the orchard to be fully “in conversion” next harvest.

Are these roasted in oil?

Nope. Ecodamia roasts all nuts without added oils—just dry-roasted for maximum flavour and the dehydrated for extra crunch.

Can I reuse the glass jar?

Yes! Ecodamia jars are vacuum sealed and plastic-free, making them perfect for pantry storage, gift packaging, or reuse around the kitchen.
