FAQs
Are the figs soft or chewy?
They are soft. They’re poached slowly in syrup and become soft and tender while still holding their shape.
Are the figs peeled?
No. The skin is left on for texture and flavour, but becomes soft in the syrup.
Is the syrup sweet?
Yes. The figs are quite sweet and then it is also sweetened with organic raw sugar and balanced with lemon and spice. The pair beautifully with other products that aren't sweet, even tart; like unsweetened yoghurt, blue cheese, unsweetened muesli.
Where are the figs grown and packed?
At Rosnay Organics in Canowindra, NSW, near Cowra and Orange — all grown, cooked, and bottled on the farm.
