Gently poached in a syrup containing certified organic raw sugar, organic wine, organic apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, clove and lemon. The figs are then carefully packed into jars, usually about 6 figs per jar.
Spoil yourself with a fig on ice cream or whipped cream, or tossed through a salad or fruit salad. Add to cereal or porridge or natural yoghurt with nuts. Add to cheese platter – especially with blue cheese. Slice and add to pizza with goats cheese and rocket.
