These Australian-grown buckwheat hulls are the outer shells of buckwheat seeds — a by-product of Bio-Oz’s buckwheat dehulling process for their buckwheat kernels. Sourced from crops grown in the cooler tablelands of NSW and southern Queensland, the hulls are air-dried, chemical-free, and sieved to remove residual dust and fragments.
Light, supportive and breathable, buckwheat hulls have been used in traditional pillows and cushions across Asia for centuries, prized for their ability to mould to the shape of the head, neck or body while allowing air circulation and firm support.
