Hand-harvested from solar-evaporated sea salt in South Australia, these fine puff-like flakes bring natural ocean flavour to the table, cooking and curing.

What are Salt Blossoms?

Olsson’s sea salt blossoms are a type of salt flakes produced using a long-standing solar evaporation method in the Spencer Gulf of South Australia. Natural seawater is held in evaporation ponds where the sun and wind gradually concentrate the salt until delicate crystals form. Skilled harvesters collect these fine, airy flakes when they are at their most tender and flavourful.
