This beautiful Organic Australian Olive Oil is a premium, cold-pressed extra virgin oil crafted from the finest Frantoio variety olive, and has a rich, robust flavour profile with a delicate balance of fruity and nutty the slightest hint of pepper (which will become milder as it ages).

Where is Olive Oil Grown in Australia?
Australia’s olive oil industry, though relatively young compared to Mediterranean countries, has rapidly gained international acclaim for its high-quality, sustainably produced oils. With a climate and soil ideal for olive cultivation, Australian farmers have perfected the art of olive oil production, often employing traditional methods alongside modern technology to produce an oil that is pure, fresh, and full of flavour. Olives are grown throughout temperate Eastern and South Western Seaboard regions of the continent. However, two regions in particular account for around 70 per cent of Australia’s current production: north-central Victoria and north of Perth, Western Australia. Our Organic Olive oil is grown in Tocumwal, which is right in the centre of the shared border of NSW and Victoria.
When is Olive Oil Harvested in Australia?
This will depend a bit on where the olives are grown. In a "normal" year, harvest would start in Queensland in mid March and then get later as you head further south ending in about July in Victoria. This will change depending on the weather prior to harvest; including factors such as rainfall and heat. In an optimal year, our olive producer will harvest mid June. After allowing the oil to settle, we will see new season stock arriving around August.
